SHARPEVILLE MASSACRE MEMORIALS
The 21 March 1960 Sharpeville Massacre is one unique occurrence that has political ties to a dying party [former liberation movement: PAC] but celebrated by the current government as a National Day dedicated to all Human Rights Abuses in South Africa. It is now tied to the Constitution that has its day on the 10th of December but not celebrated as a holiday or special day.

Unfortunately, all these memorials combined, fail to become magnets for tourists, due to lack of marketing and political issues surrounding the event itself.
